natural dye quilt
2020 - 2022
A month shy of a year after my residency in Costa Rica I made the time to piece together the face of a quilt made from the natural dyed cotton swatches. And a year after that I sticked it together with batting and backing, made up the binding and finished the quilt.
It is a quilt of sunshine, dyed from the earth, sensitive to the sun light, soft and warm. Bringing me more appreciating and understanding for the work and time hand craft takes, a humbling journey.
